General Ranking Information

There are different possible ways to rank athlets.
For German dancesport there are two of them mostly taken into account:

• DTV Ranking
• WDSF Ranking

All active German S class couples who wants to take part in the region qualification competition should take part in minimum 4 of official German Ranking tournaments: for example, Ranking in Berlin, Blaues Band der Spree, in Frankfurt, Hessen Tanzt, in Wuppertal, "The Dance Comp" and others. Aquiring good results in them allow an athlete to get a "star", what means he can skip the first round and start directly in the second one.

WDSF World Ranking contains a comparison of athletes all around the world calculated on the base of, for example, WDSF World Open competitions.
